Personalised training sessions tailored to your goals. Using an intelligent mix of bodyweight training (calisthenics) and kettlebells, we will work with you one-on-one to create a customised program that fits your needs. Training is flexible and can take place at your home, outside in the park or in a gym and all equipment is provided.

Vanessa Battaglia

Yoga Instructor

Hi, I’m Vanessa. I’m 49 years old, and yoga has been at the heart of my life for the past 10 years. What started as a way to stretch and find some calm in a busy world slowly grew into a life-changing practice that has shaped not only how I move, but how I live, breathe, and see myself.

 

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and its helped me through the ups and downs of life—career changes, raising a family, and simply navigating what it means to grow older—I’ve leaned on yoga as my anchor. It has taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of being fully present, both on and off the mat.

 

My teaching style is gentle but empowering. I love creating classes that are accessible to everyone, whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the very first time or you’ve been practicing for years. To me, yoga isn’t about perfect poses or flexibility—it’s about connection: with yourself, with your breath, and with the moment you’re in.

 

Outside of the studio, I’m passionate about holistic wellness, meditation, and spending time outdoors. Nature grounds me in the same way yoga does, reminding me that growth happens quietly, steadily, and often when we least expect it.

 

At this stage in my life, I feel more grateful than ever to share this practice. Yoga has carried me through challenges and celebrated with me in moments of joy. My hope is to offer a space where you can experience the same—whether that means building strength, finding calm, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down and breathe.

Brendan Young

Personal Trainer

As a 47-year-old business owner and father, I know exactly what it’s like to feel the aches, the stress, and the pressure of balancing health with a busy life. I specialise in helping adults improve athletecism with a sustainable approach to strength building and fat loss through a smart blend of calisthenics (bodyweight training), kettlebells, and traditional weight training. I am a qualified WSWCF trainer specialised in calisthenics and outdoors training, and I combine that with traditional weight training and kettlebell training. I would love to help you do the following:

  • Get stronger without beating up your joints

  • Move better and feel more confident in your body

  • Reduce stress and boost mental clarity

  • Improve your health and increase your energy

  • Build muscle and burn fat with proven, time-efficient training

Whether you’re getting back into fitness or looking to raise your bar, my training meets you where you are now and will take you forward towards your specific goals. I have my own mobile equipment so I can offer flexible training in the comfort of your own home, local park or gym within the Cambridge and surrounding area.
